Grow Old Along With Me...
...the best is yet to be! That was the theme of Barb and Bob's New Year's Eve wedding. These two couldn't have been any cuter and it was an honour to play such a large role in their special day. Some of you may recognize that I'm in some of these pictures... Barb is my mom! Actually, while I was in Calgary at my WPIC certification course, I got a call from my mom announcing her engagement and saying that they wanted to get married soon... in five weeks! Having never met Bob and knowing very little about him, I was shocked to say the least. But, also being someone who isn't a stranger to falling madly in love and knowing instantly you NEED to grow old alongside another soul, I wholeheartedly supported their union and got to work right away at nailing down the details of this special union.
Luckily enough we were able to snag the Provinces room at the Rodd Charlottetown, and I can't thank Pat enough for taking care of everything on such short notice! The Rodd provided the decor, a food station meal (delish!) and a quick changeover to turn our ceremony area into a beautiful reception space.
Barb & Bob sang "Grow Old Along With Me" by John Lennon to each other during the ceremony and there were very few dry eyes in the house. The small ceremony was followed by a delicious meal and dancing going into the wee hours! So sweet to see two lovebirds so totally entranced in each other! I wish these two all the love and happiness in the world on their journey together. Check out more pics of their special day here! Thanks to Rachel Peters Photography for these photos <3
Until next time,
